Ghanaian official, Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey, has been appointed as an assistant referee for the opening match of the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
The tournament, which is set to begin on Friday, January 13, will feature host nation Algeria taking on Libya at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki, Algiers.
Brobbey, who is 39 years old, will serve as the second assistant referee for the match.
The center referee for the match is Abongile Tom of South Africa.
