Daniel Nii Ayi Laryea has been appointed as the center referee for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Liberia and South Africa.

The match is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 16H00 at the Paynesville-Samuel Kayon Doe Sports Complex in Liberia.

Laryea, a seasoned referee, will be supported by Kwasi Acheampong Brobbey as Assistant Referee I, Emmanuel Dolagbanu as Assistant Referee II, and Adaari Abdul Latif as the Fourth Official.

Bakary K. Jammeh from The Gambia will serve as the Match Commissioner, while Pare Lossene from Burkina Faso will work as the Referee Assessor.

The match between Liberia and South Africa is a crucial fixture, as both teams seek to secure their spot in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Liberia is hoping to make a return to the tournament after their last appearance in 2002, while South Africa is aiming to qualify for the next year's edition after failing to qualify in 2021.

The appointment of Laryea as the referee is seen as a positive step towards ensuring a fair and balanced match. Laryea has an impressive track record and is expected to maintain high standards during the game.
