Ghanaian attacker Boapong Sampson Wirekoh has joined Bosnia and Herzegovina club Sloboda Novi Grad.

The attacker born in Ghana in 1999 had his mandatory medicals and signed his contract in Mlakve.

The club's statement reads: "In his country, he played for the Aduana Stars team, and then he played in Croatia for Segesta from Sisak, and in Slovenia for Rudar from Velenj. Due to his speed and skill with the ball, some experts and the media in his country say that he is 'Ghanaian Messi"

In the last half-season for the Rudara team, Boapong Sampson Wirekoh played seven games and registered one assist.

Sloboda finished the first part of the season in the Prva Liga of Republika Srpska in second place with 42 points, four less than the autumn champion Krupa.

Boapong Sampson Wirekoh will likely play in Sloboda Novi Grad's game against Slavja Sarajevo
