Captain of the Black Galaxies of Ghana, Gladson Awako will not play any part in the clash against Sudan this evening.
This has been announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in an official statement on Twitter.
In the post, the country’s football governing body explained that the experienced midfielder is missing the Sudan clash because of an injury.
“Skipper Gladson Awako will not be in action today due to injury. Speedy recovery El Mago,” the Ghana FA statement said.

Gladson Awako suffered the injury during the encounter between Ghana and Madagascar last Sunday.
He will be rooting for his teammates from the stands in hopes that Ghana beats Sudan today to secure qualification to the knockout stage of the 2022 CHAN tournament ongoing in Algeria.
