Former Ghana striker, Kwesi Appiah has recalled how late Black Stars forward Christian Atsu always went out of his way to help others.
Speaking to the BBC, the England-based forward said the deceased former Newcastle winger is one of the most caring and supportive people he has ever encountered.
"Away from football, he was very caring and supportive and would go out of his way to help anyone," Kwesi Appiah said.
The ex-Black Stars regular forward also described Christian Atsu as someone who would always light up any room.
Christian Atsu was confirmed dead last Saturday when his lifeless body was discovered under the rubble of his apartment building in Turkey after the earthquake.
His body has since been sent to Ghana as the family continues engagements with the government of Ghana on the funeral.
Already, it was been agreed that the one-week observation of his demise will be held on March 4.
