Former Black Stars management committee member, Moses Armah-Parker, has rated the current playing body as better and stronger compared to the 2010 squad.
Athletic Bilbao forward, Inaki Williams, Brighton defender, Tariq Lamptey, Southampton defender, Mohammed Salisu, Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer, and Stephen Ambrosius have been drafted into the Black Stars after a nationality switch.
With Otto Addo's side yet to be tested in a major tournament, Mr. Parker believes the inclusion of the players have made the national team a strong side and better than what the country had in 2010.
The likes of Kevin Prince Boateng, Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Anthony Annan, John Mensah, and Isaac Vorsah, among other players steered the country to play in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in South Africa.
"Current Black Stars setup will beat the previous record set in 2010," he told TV3.
"Otto Addo is a great coach. With likes of Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey coming in, it makes us much stronger," he added.
Meanwhile, Otto Addo's side will take on Brazil on Friday at the Le Harve with kick-off scheduled at 18:30GMT before taking on Nicaragua in Spain on Tuesday, September 27.
