FC Koln winger Kingsley Schindler contributes to charitable programs in Ghana.
The 29-year-old winger is sponsoring eleven children via the children's assistance group World Vision in his mother's birth country.
Schindler in a video on his Instagram page, explains why he wants to support the children.
"So that they have a chance and can make their dreams come true,"
Schindler also calls for people to follow his example and sponsor the international network.
With the sponsorship, the footballer gives the children sustainable “access to clean drinking water, healthy nutrition, medical care and education”.
Schindler began his career at SC Concordia, then moved on to Hannover 96 and TSG Neustrelitz. He moved to 1899 Hoffenheim II in 2013, where he played in the Regionalliga Südwest.
He joined Holstein Kiel in 2016. In 2017, the team was promoted to the 2. Bundesliga, paving the way for Schindler's professional debut.
