Ghanaian international, Joselpho Barnes has started life very well at his new club Sint-Truidense V.V, ahead of the start of the 2023/24 football season.
The former Ghana U23 forward signed for the Belgian club in June from Latvian side FC Riga on a two-year contract.
A club statement from the Belgian club to welcome the new signing said, “Another week, another transfer to Stayen: 21-year-old attacker Joselpho Barnes signs a two-year contract with STVV.
“Barnes was born in Germany, where his father (former Ghanaian international Sebastian Barnes) was active as a professional footballer at the time. He therefore has – just like that other recent acquisition Ananou – dual nationality.”
Joselpho Barnes, 21, is upbeat after signing for Sint-Truidense.
He has already settled in well with his new teammates and waiting for the start of the new football season.
He has stressed that he is elated to continue his career with Sint-Truidense in Belgium and will give his best to the team whenever he has the chance to play.
