The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the second batch of football boots for Premier League players has arrived in the country.
In an official communique, the association said what is left is the onward distribution of the football boost to the 18 Premier League clubs.
President of the Ghana FA, Kurt Okraku at the 28th ordinary session of congress on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram disclosed that a total number of Five Hundred and forty (540) pairs of boots will be supplied to Premier League Clubs with One Thousand, Four-hundred and Forty (1,440) going to the 48 Division One League clubs for onward distribution to their players.
Already, Division One League clubs have received their boots from the GFA with the Premier League sides expected to receive their boots per their requested sizes.
In total, One Thousand Nine hundred and eighty (1,980) pairs of boots will be supplied to the 48 Division One League clubs and 18 Premier League clubs each year.
According to the Ghana FA, this is the association’s way of taking away some of the burdens from club owners in the country.
