Asante Kotoko and King Faisal's 2022/23 Ghana Premier League week 21 match has been postponed, according to the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Originally scheduled for March 12, the match has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 29.

The GFA confirmed in a statement that the Baba Yara Sports Stadium's ongoing refurbishment work is the cause of the postponement.

The stadium will be closed for the match between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal because to Ghana's scheduled 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on March 23.

The GFA statement read, "The Ghana Premier League matchday 21 fixture between champions Asante Kotoko and King Faisal is postponed.

"This is due to the unavailability of Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the advertised date for the match."

All eyes will be on the Accra Sports Stadium for the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on Sunday as the Ghana Premier League enters week 20 this weekend.

The President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, is scheduled to attend the game on March 5 as part of the 2023 President's Cup.
