Ghana captain Andre Ayew has hailed the Black Stars team spirit following a two straight victories in the September international break
The Black Stars secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Central Africa Republic last Thursday to book 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
The West African powerhouse continued their winning run after beating Liberia 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in an international friendly.
Ayew made substitute appearance when the Black Stars cruised to victory over the Lone Stars on Tuesday after missing CAR clash.
Despite some scoring chances, both countries were unable to find the back of the net as the first half ended in a pulsating goalless draw.
Improved performance saw Ghana secure victory over their opponent in the second half at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Nuamah shot Ghana into the lead in the 51st minute before Mohammed Kudus doubled the advantage in the 59th minute mark.
Substitute Jordan Ayew added his side third goal before Liberia pulled one back late in the game through Divine Rosevelt Teah.
After the game, Ayew took to social media to praise the team spirit after a successful international break.
