French Ligue 1 side RC Lens has earned 70,000 Euros following Salis Abdul Samed participation at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The generous gift comes from the FIFA Club Benefits Programme, a fund FIFA set up to reward club teams whose players are competing in the World Cup. Each player gets 9520 Euros a day for his stay with his national team.
It applies to every member of a national team's 26-man roster, regardless of how frequently they play during the competition.
The 22-year-old was part of Ghana's team in Qatar, featuring in all three group games against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
Salis, who excelled at the tournament despite Ghana early exit spent three weeks with the Black Stars, accumulating 170,000 Euros for RC Lens.
Salis joined Lens as a replacement for Cheick Doucouré who departed the club to join Prmeir League side Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old has been an instant hit for the club, featuring 15 times and scoring one goal in the process.
Lens currently sit 2nd on the French Ligue 1 table with 36 points after 15 matches into the campaign.
