Ghana winger Kamal Sowah has expressed his joy following Club Brugge’s victory over Gent in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.

The 23-year-old was handed a starting role as his outfit inflicted a 2-0 win over Gent on Sunday.

Sowah, who lasted 90 minutes before being substituted was deployed in midfield and put up an impressive show to help his side secure victory on home turf.

Despite creating numerous opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net in the first half.

After the break, the home team shot into the lead through Bjorn Meijer who scored in the 73rd minute mark.

Belgian international Hans Vanaken scored in additional minute of the tie to seal victory for Club Brugge at the Jan Breydelstadion.

After the game, Sowah took to social media to express his joy following his side win over Gent.

“We are Brugge +3” He tweeted with love emojis.


Sowah has made 26 appearances for Club Brugge in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League this season, providing 4 assists in the process.
