Ghanaian youngster Ebenezer Agyei joins KVC Westerlo

Belgium side KVC Westerlo has announced the signing of young attacker Ebenezer Agyei on a 2.5-year contract.

The 18-year-old, whose parents are from Ghana, departed RSC Anderlecht last month after spending eight years with the club's development team.

Along with his twin brother Enock Atta Agyei, who is now on a year-long loan from English Championship team Burnley FC to KV Mechelen, they departed RSC Anderlecht.

As a young football player, Atta Agyei has been selected for the KVC Westerlo U21 squad.

Although he and his brother Enock Atta Agyei played for Belgium at the junior level, they are still qualified to represent Ghana.

Since 1997–98, Westerlo has been mostly playing in the Belgian Pro League, save for a short stint in the Belgian Second Division between 2012 and 2014.

Nicknamed De Kemphanen they play their home matches at the Het Kuipje.

KVC Westerlo is 7th on the Belgian Pro League table with 39 points.
