Ghana international Razak Abalora has hailed his FC Sheriff Tiraspol teammates following their triumph over Dacia Buiucani in the Moldovan Cup quarterfinals first leg.

The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper was handed a starting role as his outfit inflicted an emphatic 3-0 win over Dacia on Saturday.

Abalora, who lasted the entire duration kept clean sheet in the much-anticipated encounter.

Goals from Origbaajo Ismaila, Michael López, and Michael López were enough for the visitors to pick victory.

After the game, Abalora took to social media to express his joy following his sides comfortable win against Dacia on Saturday.

“Good team performance. +3 Clean sheet” he tweeted.

The former WAFA shot stopper will hope to help his side secure qualification to the semifinals of the Cup competition.

FC Sheriff will host Dacia in the reverse fixture next month. The winner of both legs will book a spot in the semifinals.

The goalkeeper left Kotoko to join the Moldovan giants in early 2022 and has established himself as a key cog to the side.
