Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak beat lower-tier side Kwahu Warriors at their Pobiman Training Complex in Accra on Tuesday afternoon.
The game was intended to fine-tune the team ahead of their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League round 22 match on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Striker Isaac Mensah scored the only goal of the game for the Phobians, who are currently coached by assistant coach David Olcoo on an interim basis after the club reportedly parted ways with its Serbian coach, Slavko Matic.
Hearts of Oak beat Asante Kotoko 1-0 in the Super Clash and drew 1-1 at Bibiani GoldStars last Sunday.
The Phobians are currently fourth on the Ghana Premier League table with 32 points from 21 games, seven points behind league leaders Aduana FC.
They will hope to continue building on their unbeaten run in their last two games.
