Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton, has insisted that he has seen enough from his team after two games to give him confidence.

His comments come after Ghana's 3-1 win over Liberia in the international friendly game staged at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

Ernest Nuamah, Mohammed Kudus and Jordan Ayew scored for Ghana at the Accra Sports Stadium against Liberia.

Jordan Ayew’s goal came on his landmark 92nd appearance for the Black Stars to become the fourth most-capped player.

Before the game, the Black Stars defeated Central African Republic (CAR) 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium to secure their place in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) slated to be hosted in Ivory Coast next year.

Speaking to the media after the game, Hughton indicated that though there are things the team could have done better, he had seen enough to be confident about his team.

“I have seen enough in the two games to always give me confidence. There are still things we could have done better. Today in the first half, we gave the ball away.

"The pitch was difficult with obviously the rain but I thought we gave the ball away too easily at times in that first half period…but I’ve seen enough in the two games to be confident and optimistic and looking forward to the next camp," he added.

Ghana will next take on the USA and Mexico in the next international break in two different friendly games.
