In a resolute stand, GFA Presidential candidate George Afriyie has affirmed his commitment to adhere to due process, asserting that he will navigate the established channels rather than resort to CAS.
This declaration comes in the wake of the GFA Vetting Committee's decision to disqualify Afriyie, a development that sparked speculation regarding potential legal action.
Contrary to a news report by Graphic suggesting that Afriyie was poised to seek redress at CAS, the candidate has categorically dismissed such claims.
"No I don't where Graphic is coming from maybe they have seen something that I haven't seen. But as far as ai am concerned I will go through the process I am a student of the game I understand our statute and the regulations," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"I have gone through elections this is my fifth time in 2005 I contested for executive position, in 2011 I contested, in 2015 I contested, in 2019 I contested for the position of President so I have gone through elections so I am very much abreast with statutes and our regulations. And I will use the proper channels to seek redress," he added.
