Bibiani Goldstars forward Abednego Tetteh says personal glory must take a back seat for his outfits to triumph on all fronts this season.
Tetteh has rediscovered his form, scoring five goals in four games after joining the club in the just ended Ghanaian transfer window.
The red-hot forward had difficult spells with Hearts of Oak and King Faisal but is currently on top form at Goldstars.
Tetteh's brace against Accra Lions helped the Hunters secure a point in Accra on Monday.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Wontumi FM, Tetteh said he is more concerned about the collective target of the team than his personal glory.
“Personally, I don’t think much about personal glory as a player. I always put the team first but when the opportunity comes for me to win it, I will grab it”
“At the moment, I’m thinking of helping the team to finish in a respectable position at the end of the season” he said.
Tetteh joined the Phobians in 2020, but left after just a season following struggles to break into the starting team.
He joined King Faisal, where he spent the first half of the current season, scoring two goals before moving to Goldstars.
