Ghana coach, Chris Hughton, says getting the best out of his players in two days is always difficult due to limited time.
The Black Stars recorded a win against the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
On Tuesday, Chris Hughton and his charges recorded a 3-1 win over Liberia in an international friendly game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Before the game, the 64-year-old had come under intense criticism due to the lack of inspiring football from the Black Stars.
Speaking after the win over the Lone Stars, Hughton said: “I ideally would like all the players to be playing regularly at their clubs but that is not the case.
“Some play regularly, others sporadically. Some at a very high level, some at a level not so high.
“The most important thing is when they are with us. It is about what we can get out of them in two days which is difficult," he added.
The Black Stars will return to action against the USA and Mexico in two different friendly games.
Since taking charge of his first Black Stars game in March 2023, they have won three times in five games, with the other two ending in draws.
