The general secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo, has taken a swipe at journalists for criticizing the association while pointing out at the magnificent Mohammed VI Football Academy.
The Mohammed VI Football Academy has been a reference in most conversations in Ghana while the GFA is always chastised for the poor state of the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence.
Harrison Addo commended the Moroccan FA for putting up the facility that has been instrumental in unearthing talents in the North African country.
"The GFA has been visiting the Morocco technical center even before journalists in Ghana got to know about the project," he told Akoma FM.
"It's a good sports development project and we applaud them and we (GFA) wish to have the same here but people should not be lying about it that they (Morocco) used FIFA forward money for it while GFA has spent the money through its teeth, that is untrue."
