Former Hearts of Oak head coach, Kim Grant has disclosed that he is open to handle the Black Stars.
The male senior national team of the country is currently without a coach following the departure of coach Otto Addo.
The Germany-trained tactician left his role when Ghana exited the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the end of the group stage of the tournament.
Speaking to Oyerepa FM today, Coach Kim Grant says although he is still learning, he has what it takes to do the Black Stars' job when contacted.
“Off course, I will be interested, who will not be interested in coaching his national team? I was born in Ghana, speak the language, and understand the mentality. I’ve played at the highest level and coached at the very top level,” Coach Kim Grant shared.
The ex-Black Stars player added, “Every day I am learning, I am improving as a coach, I’m studying still and I’m still looking to do my pro license now so I’m developing all the time.
“I will take any challenge that will come to my face because I want to improve myself, I want to be the best coach in the world.”
The Ghana FA per checks is making arrangements to appoint a new head coach for the Black Stars in the coming weeks.
