In the midst of anticipation and heated discussions surrounding the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections, FIFA/CAF Safety and Security Officer Nick Owusu has stepped forward with a resolute endorsement.
In his candid statement, Owusu advocates for the continuity of Kurt Okraku's leadership as the FA president, emphasizing the paramount significance of stability in the organization.
“President Kurt Okraku he should be maintained as the FA president for stability, for us to be able to see some of the fruits of his undertaking policies and for those who are critical of him to have a better basis to judge him as one may say in his first term, he lost two years to Covid-19, so he only uses two years to work,” he told Angel FM.
“So therefore, when given another four years and one criticize him, the person knows that, morally, he or she has all the basis to do that,”
“I keep saying that all the FA’s who are very proactive and outstanding in which we keep praising, none of them had reign not less than 10 years, its time, and they need time to perform,”
