Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has expressed his disappointment with his team's performance following their 2-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup.
The Foxes were at home and had a chance to progress to the quarter-finals, but poor defensive play led to their exit from the competition.
Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey was culpable for the loss, as he was responsible for the mistakes that led to both Blackburn goals.
Speaking after the match, Rodgers was critical of his team's inability to keep possession and defend properly, especially in crucial moments of the game.
Rodgers lamented his team's lack of decision-making, which led to the first goal, stating: “You’re playing at home, with a chance to get to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, and we didn’t take it.
"I think it says everything that Daniel Iversen was the Man of the Match. We couldn’t keep the ball for one and then we didn’t defend well enough.
"For the first goal, we gave it away so cheaply. It’s just decision-making and then they end up going one up. For the second goal also, we gave the ball away and then we failed to defend it.”
