Medeama have set their sights on defending the Ghana Premier League title in the upcoming campaign.
The Yellow and Mauves clinched the domestic top-flight for the first time in their history during the 2022/23 season.
Ahead of the start of the new season, the CAF Champions League campaigners has targeted defending their title.
Medeama’s opening day game against Accra Lions have been postponed due to their involvement in the CAF Champions League campaign.
The Yellow and Mauves will host Horoya AC from Guinea in the final eliminator of the CAF elite competition.
In an interview, the Board Chairman of the club, Dr. Tony Aubynn, who doubles as Executive Council member of the Ghana FA reiterated his sides desire to retain the Ghana Premier League title.
“Our target is to defend the Ghana Premier League. We know it will not come on a silver platter but we are poised to make history. Being at the top is not difficult but maintaining it is challenging. We know the challenge ahead and we are ready for it” he said.
