Medeama Sporting Club shot-stopper, Boris Junior Mandjui is set to seal a transfer to Congolese giants TP Mazembe, footballghana.com has gathered.
The Ivorian goalkeeper has this weekend travelled to Congo to wrap up talks to officially sign the contract.
It can be recalled that Medeama SC signed Boris Junior Mandjui in September 2021. This was after the Ghana Premier League side had lost long-serving goalies Eric Ofori Antwi and Frank Boateng.
After arriving in Tarkwa, Boris Junior Mandjui worked hard to become a key player for Medeama SC as his performances saw him make a name for himself.
In his first season, the goalkeeper kept 10 clean sheets and conceded just six goals after making 16 appearances in the Ghana Premier League.
Information gathered indicate that having arrived in Congo, Boris Junior Mandjui will next week undergo a medical examination before signing the contract to become the new TP Mazembe player.
In the past, Boris Junior Mandjui played for the Ivorian side Association Sportive de L’Indénié, ASEC Mimosas, Williamsville AC, Salitas FC, and USFA Ouagadougou.
