Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC have announced that midfielder Abdulai Samadu has been transferred to lower-tier outfit Wa Suntaa.
The youngster has returned to his former club after what will go down as an uneventful stay in Tarkwa.
“Abdulai Samadu has completed a permanent move from Medeama back to second-tier side Wa Suntaa.
“Samadu joined the Mauve and Yellow on a permanent contract in October 2021 after a breakout season at the second-tier Ghanaian outfit.
“Medeama have reached an agreement with the midfielder’s former club for a permanent transfer,” an official statement from Medeama SC said on Friday.
It added, “Samadu played his part in his debut season as the two-time FA Cup winners finished second on the league table in the 2021/22 season.”
Meanwhile, Medeama SC says it is thankful for the contributions of Abdulai Samadu and wishes him success in the next chapter of his career.
“The club thanks Abdulai Samadu for his contribution to our club and wish him well on his return to his boyhood club Wa Suntaa,” the club statement added.
