Nsoatreman FC is strategically positioning themselves for the onset of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye, a Board Member of the club, has unveiled their aspirations for the upcoming season, with a strong emphasis on prioritizing the development of local talent.

In their inaugural venture into the Ghana Premier League, Nsoatreman FC admirably navigated the challenges of top-tier football, securing a commendable 13th position.

Now, under the seasoned guidance of coach Maxwell Konadu, a prominent figure well-versed in the intricacies of Ghana's football landscape, the Nana Amoah Koramansah II Park outfit eyes further progress.

As they gear up for their second GPL campaign, the club's leadership has underscored the significance of nurturing young talents from the region, marking a concerted effort towards sustainable growth and success.

“The team must be looking at nurturing young ones from the area,” board member Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye told Citi Sports.

“We must look at building young boys from the area so that we don’t depend too much on recruiting and buying players from outside because we don’t have the sort of resources to be able to always buy and attract the best players from other teams.”

Nsoatreman FC will kick off their 2023/24 GPL campaign in a regional derby, welcoming Bechem United to the Nana Amoah Koramansah II Park on Sunday, September 17.
