The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will soon roll out its Football 4Girls Project across the country.

On Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the football governing body commenced the second phase of the Football 4Girls Project in the Greater Accra Region.

The project is part of efforts by the Ghana FA to develop Women's football at the grass-roots level.

The project is an initiative of the Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

It has been commenced with the aim of introducing football to the girl child at the Primary school level.

The main agenda of the second phase is to honor scheduled meetings with the various ParentTeacher Associations in the selected primary schools to share the numerous benefits in supporting their girl child to explore their interest in football at a young age.

Parents of young girls are encouraged to provide maximum support psychologically, emotionally and physically to their daughters while admonishing them to erase all the misconceptions surrounding females' involvement in sports.

FIFA/UEFA Coaching instructor- Histerine De Reus, Head of Women's Football Development at the GFA Technical Directorate- Ama Brobey Williams and GFA Technical Director-Bernard Lippert, headline the contingent on this all-important outfield project.

According to the Ghana FA, the Football 4girls project which is being gradually implemented in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) will be introduced across the country very soon.
