Ghana international Tariq Lamptey looks set to be staying at Brighton and Hove Albion after failing to land a move this winter.
The defender was on the radar of Portuguese and French giants, Sporting Lisbon and Olympic Lyon, who wanted to sign him on loan.
But the Black Stars right-back proposed move to the aforementioned teams has hit a snag.
According transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, both Sporting Lisbon and Lyon have left the negotiation table to sign Lamptey this window.
