Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has no qualms missing out in the Black Stars final 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Ashimeru who has been in a rich vein of form for the Belgian giants was overlooked by the technical handlers of the Black Stars.
This means, the 24-year-old will have to wait to make his first appearance at a tournament with the Black Stars.
Speaking to Joy Sports, the in-form midfielder said he has no worries missing out in Ghana’s final squad for the biggest soccer mundial in the Asian country.
"I do believe in God and I just believe it's not the time. Sometimes I believe I should be there but it doesn't come. Everyone has to be there," he told Joy Sports.
"Form me I don't care when I am not in the squad, I feel like when it’s my time I will be there because we have so many playing doing amazing in Europe. Sometimes I feel like I deserve it but when it doesn't come, I don't have any problem," he added.
Ghana will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
Four days later, the Black Stars return to action with a clash with South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.
Ghana will wrap up their group stage adventure with their much-anticipated encounter with Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
The Black Stars having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia in 2018 will be hoping to improve their performance in Qatar after exiting the group phase during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Only three sides from the continent have ever progressed to the quarter-finals; Cameroon in 1990, Senegal in 2002, and Ghana in 2010.
Ghana will be hoping to progress from the group stage at this year's tournament.
