A fantastic display from Dreams Football Club on Sunday afternoon saw the team defeat Asante Kotoko 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
The Dawu-based club today welcomed the Porcupine Warriors to the Theatre of Dreams in a Week 17 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 Ghanaian top-flight league.
In a game that saw both teams putting up a top performance in a bid to secure victory, it was the hosts that came out tops.
Following a good showing in the early parts of the game, Gael Aholou scored in the 14th minute to give Dreams FC the lead.
While the visitors would fight to get back into the game, the team could not score and went into the break trailing.
After recess, a close contest ensued between the two teams and produced another goal.
Unfortunately, it was not defending champions Asante Kotoko that scored. Dreams FC striker Agyenim Boateng netted a second goal for the team in the 59th minute to seal a delightful 2-0 win for the hosts.
