Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has urged Ghana to remain focused on one game at a time as they look to qualify from their group at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Black Stars have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.

"My personal goal comes with the team and it’s because if the team doesn’t go far then the personal goals don’t come in. Like I said before, the main goal is to help the team get out of the group. The further we go, the more they see the individuals," he told TV3.

"I think it’s one step at a time. Right now the main focus is to get out of the group and the next challenge comes."

The West African country will be making their fourth appearance at the World Cup after missing the previous competition held in Russia four years ago.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup takes place between November 21 and December 18, 2022.

Only three sides from the continent have ever progressed to the quarter-finals; Cameroon in 1990, Senegal in 2002, and Ghana in 2010.
