Ex-Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has expressed his views on the recent verdict of the Accra High Court in the defamation case involving investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and politician Kennedy Agyapong.
The High Court dismissed Anas' ¢25 million defamation lawsuit against Agyapong and directed Anas to pay Agyapong ¢50,000 as compensation.
Sannie Daara welcomed the ruling, stating that justice had been served and Anas had been exposed as a dishonest and blackmailing journalist who distorts the truth.
In an interview with GhanaWeb Sports, Sannie Daara said, "Wickedness and evildoers will not continue with their wrongdoings forever.
"There will be justice, and that justice has been served today. Today, the court has confirmed, verified, and approved that Anas Aremeyaw Anas is corrupt, and this is the truth."
He added, "The court of Ghana has declared that he is a blackmailer. Wickedness and evildoers will not continue with their wrongdoings forever. The truth has been exposed in a manner that has brought shame to this man (Anas Aremeyaw Anas) who manipulates things and does not seek the truth."
