Ansgar Knauff out of Frankfurt's game against VfB Stuttgart due to hip injury

In the home game against VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt's head coach will be without Ansgar Knauff.

According to the club, Ansgar Knauff has minor hip injury.

The on-loan Borussia Dortmund wideman previously suffered from a fascial injury in his thigh which kept him out of cation for two months.

The German-born Ghanaian wideman had to undergo rehabilitation to pass fit to resume training.

Knauff has been on an explosive form since joining Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Borussia Dortmund.

The Germany U-21s international won the UEFA Europa League Young Player of the Season award last season.

Eintracht Frankfurt is aiming to move further up the table and a win against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday afternoon will help them streghten their spot on the table.

According to reports in German Borussia Dortmund will like to have the wideman back in their squad for next season but Eintracht Frankfurt is also interested in making the loan deal permanent.
