Ghana national team head coach, Chris Hughton has noted that his players are ready for the clash against the Central African Republic.
The Black Stars will face their counterparts from the Central African Republic on Thursday, September 7, in the final Group E match of the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Speaking in a pre-match press conference, Coach Chris Hughton says Ghana will fight to beat the Central African Republic tomorrow to qualify for the next AFCON.
“We are conscious of what this game means not only for the nation but myself, the players, and everybody involved. We know what this game means. We will do everything we can to get the result that we want to get,” Coach Chris Hughton told the press.
The Ghana coach added, “Preparations have been good. We are playing at home. We have a good record here and we want to continue that.”
The game between Ghana and the Central African Republic is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
