Former Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has hailed Antonio Conte as a father figure having featured for the Italian at Juventus.

The pair worked together at Juve between 2012 and 2014 where Asamoah was a key cog of the team.

He played an instrumental role in helping the club to six consecutive Serie A titles between 2013 and 2018, among other titles.

"Yes, it was my turning point and also for this reason I consider Conte almost like a second father. It was fortunate to cross him on my path, thanks to him I became a different player and my career took off," he told The Gazzetta dello Sport.
