Ghana great John Paintsil believes that winning the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is a real possibility for the Black Stars, provided the players adopt the right mindset and approach to the tournament.

“Ghana can win the AFCON but other teams are also pushing. It tough one but if we do our things well and prepare the mindset of the players, we can win it. The players must have a WINNING mentality because, without it, they will not be able to win it. We take a step at a time and I believe that we are too close to winning it,” Paintsil told Ghana Web.
The Black Stars of Ghana confirmed their qualification for the 2023 AFCON, slated to be hosted in Ivory Coast in 2024.
