Ghana international Baba Rahman is ready to make his deal permanent at Reading FC after loan spell, Footballghana.com can confirm.
The Chelsea player has returned to Reading on loan for the second consecutive season after spending last season there.
According to the defender, he is ready to make his deal permanent at the end of the loan spell.
Asked about making his move permanent next summer, Rahman said, “If the possibility comes up then why not, I would take it. It’s two clubs that have to deal and for me I’m feeling at home here and love it here.”
Meanwhile, the left-back has explained why his return to Reading delayed this summer.
“It was always a possibility to come back here and I was in touch with the gaffer all throughout pre-season.
“I watched three games of the pre-season and kept in touch so it was always a possibility.
“It was frustrating because I wanted to get out and have a proper pre-season to get minutes in my legs.
“It was basically the two clubs trying to sort out the transfer issue which was frustrating,” he said.
The Black Stars defender has made one appearance for the Championship club in the 2022/23 season.
