Ghana Out of 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON After Morocco Defeat

Tough times for Ghana in the 2024 Beach Soccer AFCON as they’ve been knocked out following a 5-2 loss to Morocco. This marks their second consecutive defeat in Group A, leaving them at the bottom of the standings. Morocco, on the other hand, are on fire, securing their second win after a close 4-3 victory over Tanzania.

With Ghana now out of the competition, Morocco is eyeing a spot in the knockout stages and will face hosts Egypt in their final group game. It’s going to be an exciting finish to the group stage, with Egypt also looking to capitalize on their home advantage against Tanzania.

Thoughts on Ghana’s performance so far?

Can Morocco make it to the final?

Honestly, not too surprised by this result. Morocco looked way more organized and clinical in that game. A 5–2 scoreline pretty much says it all — they were just on another level in terms of finishing and overall control. Still, I wouldn’t write Ghana off completely. Beach soccer can be unpredictable, and with a bit more structure and consistency, they could definitely bounce back in future tournaments. Right now it just feels like they need better game management and maybe more experience in high-pressure matches. By the way, if you’re into following games like this and placing a few bets for extra excitement, I’ve been using Wageon Bet lately. Pretty smooth platform, fast payouts, and decent odds on smaller tournaments too — which is actually rare. Makes matches like these way more interesting to watch
