Ghanaian international Ishaku Konda has hailed David Horejs as a father figure after completing his transfer to FK Jablonec.
The 23-year-old as penned a two year deal with the Czech Republic top-flight side after successful negotiations.
He was put through his paces for the first time on Monday by his former coach David Horejs whom he worked with and established a good relationship with him at Ceske Budejovice.
"Coach David Horejš has been more than a father to me since the first days we worked together. We are well connected and sometimes we communicate in German," Konda said as quoted by the club's website.
"He really helped me improve a lot and I chose to work with him again because I believe he can make me I would like to thank him and the implementation team for their trust."
Ishaku Honda has previously featured for České Budějovice, and also had a fine stint in Estonia where he played for Paide.
At FK Jablonec, the Ghanaian youngster has set his sights on working very hard to make a mark in the Czech Republic top-flight side this season.
Konda is likely to feature in their cup game against Vyskov on Tuesday.
