Ghanaian international Francis Amuzu has extended his stay with Belgian giants, Anderlecht, Footballghana.com can report.
According to reports in the Dutch media, the 23-year-old who joined the club in 2017 has been handed an improved contract which will keep him at the club for a longer period.
Anderlecht have not confirmed Amuzu’s contract extension at the club but Footballghana.com understand he has extended his stay to ward off interest from other clubs.
His current contract was supposed to expire in the summer of 2024.
The Belgian-born Ghanaian winger was a subject of interest for several clubs in the summer window but could not seal a move.
The Belgian giants had to reject an offer of 9 million euros from French side Nice to keep the Ghanaian youngster at the club.
The enterprising forward is currently injured but could be back in action after the international break.
Amuzu started for Anderlecht when they locked horns with Kortrijk in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
