Hearts of Oak forward Benjamin Yorke has vowed to nail a position at the club ahead of the start of the new season.
The enterprising striker who joined the Phobians in August 2021 from Sarmatex has struggled to break into the starting line up under coach Samuel Boadu.
Despite his limited game time, Yorke showed glimpses of good performance at latter part of the 2021/22 season.
Ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, the forward says he will fight to win back his position in the team.
“We are going to start a new season, personally, my aim is to fight and win back my position in the team” he said after the club’s first training session.
Before joining Hearts of Oak, Yorke racked up 12 goals and provided four assists in 24 matches for Sarmatex in the Division One League at the time.
