Black Galaxies assistant coach Prosper Ogum has stated that his relationship with the players and technical team is cordial.
Ogum discussed his relationship ahead of Black Galaxies' quarterfinal game against Niger on Saturday in Oran.
The former Asante Kotoko coach, officials, and players arrived in Oran at 7 pm on Thursday and are scheduled to hold an official training session on Friday.
Ghana qualified from the Group stage with six points, behind Madagascar who will face Mozambique in the other quarterfinal game in Constantine.
"It is all about mutual respect and understanding before you can succeed as a coach or as a team you need to have that working relationship and understanding. Once that working relationship and understanding is established it becomes relatively easier to you to achieve your target," he said on Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"So I think it is working because he (Annor Walker) knows his training content he knows how to structure the training content he knows how to organize the training content,"
"And above all no matter how challenging the exercises are or difficult the exercises are he has a nice way of encouraging them (players) to be able to perform these exercises. So I think he has a good charisma he has a good way of dealing with them that is why we are seeing what we are seeing,"
