Former Hearts of Oak striker, Prince Tagoe has disclosed that he decided to stay committed to the club in 2006 when French giants PSG came calling.
According to him, he opted to reject the offer from the European giants because he was not in a rush to leave the club in the middle of the season.
He said this in an interview with Accra-based Angel TV as he advised attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.
“I rejected an offer from PSG in 2006 to complete a season at Hearts of Oak and I was the top scorer.
“I moved to Saudi Arabia for €2m the following year and had good offers from Europe. Afriyie Barnieh shouldn’t rush to leave Hearts of Oak,” Prince Tagoe said.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has been in the news in recent weeks following reports of his unwillingness to sign a new contract with Hearts of Oak.
The attacker is reportedly set to reach a deal with Swedish giants Malmo FF.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are doing everything possible to tie him down to a new deal.
