The sporting director of Vancouver Whitecaps, Axel Schuster says the club is elated with the signing of defender Richie Laryea.
The MLS outfit secured the services of the wingback on loan from Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, August 2.
“Vancouver Whitecaps announced on Wednesday that the club has acquired Canadian international wingback Richie Laryea on loan from Nottingham Forest of the English Premier League. Laryea’s loan agreement runs through December 31, 2023. Laryea will be added to the club’s roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and medical,” an official club statement from the MLS side said.

Speaking on the arrival of the new signing, Axel Schuster heaped praise on Richie Laryea, describing him as a winner and a leader.
“Richie Laryea is a winner, competitor, leader and has proven to be one of the best fullbacks in our league,” Axel Schuster said.
