We are ready for Switzerland friendly tomorrow, says Ghana star Mohammed Kudus

Ghana poster boy, Mohammed Kudus has indicated that the team is ready for the friendly match against Switzerland.

The Black Stars are scheduled to take on their counterpart from Switzerland in a final preparatory test before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, November 17.

Speaking in a pre-match interview on Wednesday, Mohammed Kudus revealed that he is happy with the atmosphere in camp.

According to him, every player looks fit and the team is ready to take on the Swiss national team

“We just came and preparations have been good and the whole team looks ready and fit so we just go tomorrow and give our best and prepare for the World Cup ahead.

“We will take tomorrow’s game as our first game in the World Cup to really put the intensity and energy and everything together to prepare for the World Cup,” Mohammed Kudus said.

Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be one of five African countries representing the continent.

The Black Stars will compete in Group H of the group stages of the tournament. In that group, Ghana will battle it out with two-time champions Uruguay, as well as European giants Portugal.

The other group opponent is South Korea from Asia.

While the 2022 FIFA World Cup will commence on Sunday, November 20, Ghana’s Black Stars will play their first match on November 24.

Subsequently, Ghana will take on South Korea on November 28 before finishing the group stages campaign with a rematch against Uruguay.
