Ghana international, Mohammed Kudus has noted that the Black Stars are ready for the clash against Switzerland on Thursday, November 17.

The Black Stars will tomorrow take on their Swiss counterpart in a final international friendly match before moving camp from Abu Dhabi to Qatar for the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking ahead of the friendly, Mohammed Kudus has indicated that Ghana plans to take the game as the first match of the World Cup.

“We just came and preparations have been good and the whole team looks ready and fit so we just go tomorrow and give our best and prepare for the World Cup ahead.

“We will take tomorrow’s game as our first game in the World Cup to really put the intensity and energy and everything together to prepare for the World Cup,” Mohammed Kudus said after the team’s training on Wednesday.

Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be one of five African countries representing the continent.

The Black Stars will compete in Group H of the group stages of the tournament. In that group, Ghana will battle it out with two-time champions Uruguay, as well as European giants Portugal.

The other group opponent is South Korea from Asia.

While the 2022 FIFA World Cup will commence on Sunday, November 20, Ghana’s Black Stars will play their first match on November 24.

Subsequently, Ghana will take on South Korea on November 28 before finishing the group stages campaign with a rematch against Uruguay.
